Project Description

St Gregory The Great Church

The Church of St Gregory the Great is a Grade II* Listed, Roman Catholic Church in Cheltenham. We were contracted by Ellis & Co to complete specialist internal painting, including the reinstatement of the original ceilings and high-level plaster in the Nave, Aisles, Crossing and Transepts. As an important building of more than special interest, working alongside Architects Dittrich Hudson Vasetti for listed-building consent, we produced a sample board of hand-picked classic colours, naturally beautiful and selected for being highly breathable and offering better coverage and crack filling.

Naturally beautiful and breathable paint for a stunning appearance

We delivered the project over an 8-week period in the summer months with two painters, highly skilled in delivering heritage works, and working at height from within a Birdcage for safe access to high-level working.

The result is a stunning transformation of the interior of the Church to its original design but with the addition of a modern paint system to preserve the interior for many generations to come.
